Product Update: Image Viewer & Workflow Enhancements
Overview
This release improves quantitative measurement in PET-CT, tool switching, and hanging protocol navigation in OmegaAI.
What's New
1. Probe Tool: Auto-Volumetric SUV Measurement
What changed:
Placing a probe marker on a region of increased FDG uptake now automatically segments the area and computes SUVmax, SUVmean, SUVpeak, and Vol (cc) — with this improvement no manual ROI drawings are required.
Benefit:
Faster, consistent lesion quantifications on PET-CT with less manual effort.
2. Toggle Hover to Switch Tools
What changed:
A new setting lets users switch between Adjustment Tools and Markup Tools in the Image Control Wheel by hovering, instead of clicking.
Benefit:
Fewer clicks when alternating between tool groups during image review. This feature is disabled by default.
3. Hanging Protocol Cycling Shortcuts
What changed:
New keyboard shortcuts to cycle through Hanging Protocols instantly:

Benefit:
Navigate layouts without leaving the keyboard, keeping reading flow uninterrupted.
Important Notes
- Probe Tool SUV volumetric is only available on fused PET-CT viewports.
- Toggle Hover is disabled by default; enable it in User Preferences.
- Hanging Protocol shortcuts cycle only protocols visible for the current study. Index resets on new study load.
